POST GUIDELINES

KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE

Knowing who you want to communicate with will help determine where you post:

A Wide Audience → BROADCAST Groups
Only the Owners and Managers of Broadcast groups can post content to this Feed. If you have
idea for a post that you feel would be of interest to the group, contact the Group Owner [if you
click on the GROUP name, you can see who the owner is under Members]

A Specific Audience → GROUPS
Search to see whether the group already exists. You can post on that Group’s page if it’s a
public group (you do not need to join the group to post) but if it’s a private group, you’ll need
to Ask to Join before you can post. If no such group exists, you can create a Group (refer to the
HELP tab for instructions on how)

Specific Individuals → The individual’s PROFILE page
Note that your post will be appear on the individual’s Profile page and so is potentially visible to
all Community members.

My Followers → MY FEED
Followers are Community members that take an interest in what you do. Anything you post
under MY FEED will be visible to people that are following you. Keep in mind that as you do not
control who ‘Follows’ you, you cannot control who sees what you publish here so it’s best used
for more passive or general interest type communication.
