How to fit a

maternity jean

Take the time with mom-to-be and discuss “belly” with her.
Use these questions to help you determine which belly fit
is best for her (refer to the belly fits pages):

• Does she carry her baby high, center or low?

• Is her skin highly sensitive or not?

• Does she need her belly to be supported by the
belly panel or not?

Confirm her needs in terms of styling and her lifestyle:

• What is her favorite leg shape?

• Does she wear denim to work, to go out or as
weekend wear?

• What type of details does she like?
(ie pockets, wash, fabric etc)

She is the “boss” at this stage.
Respect her taste, style and needs.
