• Speak with confidence about our offering without
emphasizing one belly fit more than another.

• Use expert language and correct terminology (ie) longer
rise, waistband, belly panel, leg opening, shape and
inseam (to name just a few).

• Persevere in finding the best fitting denim for each
mom-to-be; explain to her that she should not disregard
a belly fit entirely if a certain style does not appeal to her.

• Use mannequins or leg forms to illustrate the features,
benefits and versatility of each fit.

• During quieter times, try on different styles and any new
denim received to better know your product and learn
the characteristics of each fit.

• Remember that what can be a size M at Thyme, can be
a different size elsewhere; take the time to measure your
customer – it’s the best way to determine her size and
ultimately ensure her satisfaction and comfort.

• Be sure to give all first time shoppers detailed
explanations about our pant fits.
