SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
The software is the major core where the data gets analyzed into readable form. As
described above, there are 2 software running in conjunction at the same time to completely
perform the dyno’s full function. One of the software is the program that numerically
controls the resistors, while the other one extracts data from the RPM sensors and graph its
readings. The ultimate output of the result still lies in the software that analyses the RPM
readings, as varying load levels can be an exceptional option.
The first step to set up the software is to gather and analyze the parameters that are needed
in the software. It is major stage of developing a software as it is basically the brain
storming phase to configure the variables we can put into action for development. The
second stage is system analysis, where the entire system is defined in a detailed blueprint.
