DIGITAL BOOST
The Marlborough Chamber has been approached by the Digital Boost team (supported by the
Nelson Regional Development Agency) to help small and medium sized businesses and
organisations throughout Marlborough.
The Digital Boost programme has been designed by industry experts and small businesses to help
businesses to become digitally engages and to help develop their skills in this area.
The Marlborough Chamber is offering businesses a free nine-month programme of support for those
who want to build knowledge, skills, confidence and most importantly trust in digital tools to help
them in their business.
So far over 51,000 businesses have benefited from using the platform. We’re trying to add more in
Marlborough and help you to get the very best from the scheme.
This free programme is limited to just 15 businesses. It will cover areas such as:
Promotion and on-line marketing
Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
E-commerce
Inventory control
Financial management
It is anticipated that the workshops will be up to three hours in duration allowing for some time for
all important networking and knowledge-sharing between participants.
In order to be eligible, you must
Be sole traders/self-employed or have between 1-to-20 employees;
Not be an existing Digital Boost Educate user, or not a registered user prior to 1 April 2022;
Be operating in a commercial environment;
Must be a privately‐owned business, Māori Trust or incorporation under the Te Ture Whenua
Māori Act 1993 or similar organisation managing Māori assets under multiple ownership;
And most importantly you must want to improve your digital skill and utilise more digital tools
for your business.
