STOLEN CHILDHOODS

Observing since many months that children have been working in Hotels, Footpath,

Factories and many more places which we are not even aware off. The exploitation of

children is very deeply disturbing topic for me. The scope of problems and issues are vast.

Millions of children spend their childhood working hard and do not have any opportunity to

play, go to school or live in a healthy environment.

CHILD LABOUR plays vital role in it. Labour below 14 years is called as child labour.

India has largest number of child labour in the world. In urban areas children work in

dhabas, as a cleaner. They have long working hours, bad and unhygienic working condition

and fewer wages. Child labour and Poverty are inevitably bound together, and if you

continue to use the labour of children as treatment for social diseases of poverty you will

have both poverty and child labour to the end of time.

While reading this, anger is a very common reaction, because you are thinking how on

earth can this be? Why is this allowed to continue? The reason behind this is POVERTY.

People love their children all over the world. Parents want the same thing for their children

no matter what country they are in. Anyone who thinks parents would rather send their

children to work at hotels and street is just Wrong. This things is a tight slap to a SAMAJ.

What are we doing? Nothing! At least let us all take a step to ban this evil .
