This is a picture of Harry Ranson the “legendary” Head Horseman to
Young and Co's Brewery at Wandsworth in South London.
We contacted Harry and told him we had a horse that needed some work.
Harry travelled to New Bolingbroke to have a look at Ebony and consequently
took him back to work in London for the next 8 years.
Harry himself was no stranger to Lincolnshire as he had been an apprentice
in his youth, at the Balderstone's Heavy Horse Stud at Frithville, about 6
miles south of New Bolingbroke and just north of Boston.
