You must tell the FTL Ltd Transport Manager and the
DVLA if you have any problem with your eyesight that
affects either eye.

If you fail the basic eye test you will be suspended
from driving and you may be asked to attend a formal
eye test to ensure that you are fit to drive. This is for
your safety, staff and the public.

26.1 Eye Contact

Please ensure that whilst walking or driving around on any site you have made eye contact
with the vehicle and plant drivers before crossing their path from any
direction.

• You may need to wave to attract the operators/driver’s attention
• You must then wait for their permission to cross the yard to ensure you have
been seen

This procedure is to ensure that you are kept safe and you take responsibility
for your safety and anyone else in your party whilst crossing the yard at any site you visit.
