b) DOCUMENTS: Students must submit the Course Study Guide or equivalent materials,
enclosed with the request for a “Failure Recovery Exam”.
i. Students who cannot, or will not, submit his/her Course Study Guide for Faculty
Review will not be granted a “Failure Recovery Opportunity” and will fail that
course, which means that he/she fails the entire Degree Study Program.
II. FAILURE RECOVERY EXAM: Eligible students will be granted one (1) “Retake Exam” for
the purposes of recovering from failed Course Exam at issue.
A. DELIVERY - - The “Retake Exam” shall be delivered to the student and must be
completed and returned to the Exam Grading Department within 10
calendar days.
B. SUCCESS - - Achieving a minimum of 70% correct answers on the “Retake Exam”
shall result in the grade of the second exam being the “grade of record”
for that course.
C. FAILURE - - Failing the Exam Re-take shall result in the student failing the course
meaning failure for the entire Degree Study Program and his/her student
status shall be terminated.
1. TUITION LOSS: As with Regular Students of THBI, tuition is not refunded for
failed students.
NOTE - - As stated in the policies of the THBI Student Handbook and in the
application for enrollment with THBI which the student acknowledged
and agreed with … “TUITION DOES NOT PAY FOR THE DEGREE NOR DO
WE GUARANTEE THE SUCCESS OF A STUDENT’S STUDIES.”
I. The “Student in Good Standing” status shall be determined by:
A. TUITION PAYMENTS: Students shall be in good standing as long as the student remains
current with the terms of the “Tuition Payment Plan” he or she submitted at the time of
enrollment.
B. EXAM SUBMISSIONS: Students who fail to submit at least one completed course exam in any
90-day period (calendar days), shall be considered to be “dropping out” from enrollment and
his/her enrollment status shall be “suspended” for the next 90 calendar days during which time
the student may request to be reinstated.
C. GRADES STATUS: Students who fail a course exam will lose their “Good Standing” status and
be terminated as a student.
D. STANDARDS FAILURES: The “Good Standing” status shall be suspended for any students
being reported to fail to abide by the moral and spiritual standards of conduct as set forth in Holy
Scriptures or detailed in this Student Handbook will be subject to “Administrative Review”.
1. Administrative Review Panel: The Review Panel will consist of the Ministry Directors of
True Hope Ministries of America.
2. Administrative Review Findings: A student found or admitting to being guilty of a moral or
spiritual standards failure will be counseled, given opportunity to repent and be restored to
good standing.
