3. Delivery Means: Delivery must take place by either: 1) Email, with the notice being
digitally sent prior to the deadline; 2) USPS Certified or Registered
Mail Service and postmarked prior to the deadline. No other means
of delivery will be honored by THBI
C. Cancellation without Refund: Any cancellation notice sent AFTER 3 BUSINESS DAYS – WILL BE
HONORED BUT NO REFUND WILL BE GRANTED.
1. The Student Enrollment Package materials are begun to be processed for shipping after the
third business day so refunds after the third day are just simply not possible.
II. TUITION PAYMENTS REFUNDS POLICY:
We do not use a financing contract and we charge no interest or finance charges.
Students may withdraw or drop-out at any time for any reason without further obligation on
either party. Refunds for students on a monthly payment plan will be as set forth below:
A. Student Dropout: See – Student Termination Policies.
1. STUDENTS WHO DROPOUT WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND – NO EXCEPTIONS.
B. STUDENT FAILURE: ANY STUDENT WHO FAILS A COURSE EXAM OR FAILS A DEGREE
STUDY PROGRAM FOR ANY REASON SHALL NOT BE ENTITLED TO A
REFUND - - NO EXCEPTIONS
C. Student Withdrawals: Refunds may be granted as set forth below:
2. PRIOR TO ACTUAL WITHDRAWAL Student must submit to THBI a Letter of
Withdrawal prior to that student’s actual cessation of study activities.
a) Notification: Withdrawal Notification must be written (printed) and signed.
Verbal notifications will not be accepted as valid.
b) Effective Date: The first business day of the month will be the date on which the
withdrawal takes place. (*Business days are any day except Sunday or Federal Holidays)
i. Notifications must be submitted (received via Email or post marked by USPS Mail)
prior to the first business day of the month.
ii. The “Effective Date” of notifications submitted after the first business day of the
month will be delayed until the first business day of the following month.
iii. Example: If in the month of June, a student decides to withdraw, they must submit
a letter of withdrawal before July 1.
c) Accepted Format: Withdrawal letters must be typed or printed. No refunds will be
issued for months of tuition already used or for courses already taken.
d) Methods of Delivery: Withdrawal Notifications must be delivered by an acceptable
method of deliver to be accepted for purposes of refunds.
i. USPS Mail: Notifications submitted via USPS Services must be a Certified or
Registered Letter
ii. Email: Notifications may be submitted via Email sent to the designated Email address
iii. Other Methods: All other methods of delivery are considered invalid
3. FAILURE TO PROPERLY NOTIFY: Students failing to properly submit withdrawal
notification shall forfeit all tuitions paid and no refunds will be processed.
D. DECISION NOTIFICATION: THBI will notify students who properly submitted withdrawal
notifications of refund amounts due as follows:
1. Current month: NO REFUNDS ISSUED.
