The Actual Practice:
The aim of these industrial visits is “Education – Exposure – Experience.” Students are taken to
various industrial as well as research organizations.
To name a few:
Gauribidanur Radio Observatory, Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) , Mayas Food Factory,
Sqandal soap factory, Sartorious Biotech, Rourkela Steel plant, Anthem Biosciences, Forensic
Science Laboratories, High Court and Prison visits, DNA profiling laboratories, Brain Museum and
the like.
Outcome:
• Provided an n exposure to students about practical working environment.
• Helped in bridging the gap between classroom theoretical training and practical
learning in a real-life environment.
• Students found it easy to select relevant organizations for their assignments.
• Using the case study approach within the visit brought out critical thinking among
students.
