• In order to provide a platform to the students to understand the functioning of the
Criminal Justice System a moot court presentation is conducted. In this a mock court is
set up where the class room is divided into groups and each group is given a case and
the judiciary procedure for the same is presented. Students are encouraged to
participate in the same by performing the role of judge, police officer, victim, advocate,
suspect, forensic expert, doctor etc…
• Connecting academics to applied learning through pedagogical innovations has always
been the core strength at the department and the following are a few examples:
➢ Stock Market Live trading through NSE - Competition connecting to the Academics
(Financial Markets, Capital Market Operations) through Stock Market Institute – 500
students active participation
➢ Capstone Market - Inter class Marketing Carnival – Students are provided a theme every
year and with a limited capital, they initiate Products, LSCM, Distribution, Branding and
Advertisement, CRM, and after subsequent Sales, submit a report on the same.(Impacts
600 students)
➢ As part of HRM, students are given a task to recreate the Recruitment/ Selection /
Placement/ Induction process (Impacts 400 students)
Outcome:
• Provided an optimum learning environment and the learning becomes joyful and long-
lasting.
• Ability to collaborate successfully.
• Capable of negotiating conflict effectively.
• Understands the process of group development.
• Places a value on taking initiative.
• Ability to effectively communicate non-verbally.
