ANTI-DISCRIMINATION
Lodi Unified School District programs and activities shall
be free from discrimination, including harassment, with
ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
respect to a student’s actual or perceived sex, gender,
ethnic group identification, race, national origin, religion,
color, physical or mental disability, age, or sexual orienta-
tion. The district strictly prohibits, nor will it tolerate, dis-
crimination, harassment, intimidation, or bullying of, any
student by another student or employee based on the
characteristics above. Persons engaging in such behavior
will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.
The Lodi Unified School District recognizes its obligation
to provide overall program accessibility throughout the

BULLYING
The Lodi Unified School District recognizes the harmful effects of
bullying on student learning and school attendance and desires to
provide safe school environment that protect students from physi-
cal and emotional harm.
No student or groups of students shall, through physical, written,
verbal, or other means, harass, sexually harass, threaten, intimi-
date, cyberbully, cause bodily injury to, or commit hate violence
against any other student or school personnel.
Cyberbullying includes the creation and transmission of harassing
communication, direct threats, or other harmful texts, sounds, or
images on the Internet, social media, or other technologies using a
telephone, computer, or any wireless device. Cyberbullying also
