Effective Time Management Strategies
• Don’t rely on your memory only. Keep
information in trusted system where you can
organize and classify it.
• Plan your day each week the week before
and each morning the night before. You
should have clear to do list for every
workday.
• Set exact deadlines – date and even time, if
necessary.
• Create a system to notify yourself of
scheduled tasks.
• Prioritize and focus.
• Continually evaluate your progress at the
end of the day.
• Look ahead for a week, a month, and a year
at a time.
• Examine your habits. If they are harmful or
useless, get rid of them.
• Avoid procrastination by scheduling every
task. If anything must be postponed –
reschedule immediately.
• Eliminate mediocre projects.
• Reward yourself when you get things done
as you have planned, especially, if these
things are important to you.
