1. PRELIMINARIES

3. Work Program

• The Contractor shall plan the execution of the works by preparing a work
program and submitting it for approval by the S.O.

• The work program will be used by the S.O. to monitor progress and be the

basis for the assessment of extensions of time.

4. Supervision of works

• To appoint Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC)/
Professional Geologist (P.GEOL) for monitoring and standing supervision on site
and laboratory including endorsing the SI report.

• The PEPC/ P.GEOL may appoint a qualified representative on his behalf to carry

out monitoring and supervision subject to S.O. approval.
• The PEPC/ P.GEOL and representatives must fulfill the minimum requirements as

specified by the S.O.
