Joanne Rowling was born in England near
Bristol on July 31st, 1965. She is now 55 years
old. She wrote all the Harry Potter books.
She went to a primary school called St
Michael's Primary School. She went to Exeter
University.
Her Mum and Dad liked to read books. She
wanted to write books when she was little.
Now, J.K.rowling likes to bake and write.
500million copies of the Harry Potter books
were sold. The first Harry Potter book was out
in 1997.
