HERTA HUBLER’S LIME MOLD

        Ingredients
        1 large lime jello package

        1 cup sour cream
        1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
        3 cups water
        cherries cut in half



        OPTIONAL:
        1 can mandarin oranges drained and chopped



        Instructions
        Separate juice and pineapple.
        Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water and add sour cream.
        Beat well, add pineapple juice, and 1 cup water.
        Pour into greased mold. Let settle a little then add pineapple.

        Refrigerate until firm.


        My mother used to make this lime jello mold for Easter dinner. The metal mold, mom

        used to form the lime jello ring, had a hole in the middle. When she plated the lime ring,
        she would put her ambrosia in the middle. Everyone loved this and I have continued
        using this lime mold and ambrosia for my Easter dinners.


















        ABROSIA

        Ingredients
        8 ounces sour cream
        8 ounces small marshmallows
        8 ounces drained and cut mandarin orange

        8 ounces chick pineapple
        8 ounces shredded coconut


        Instructions
        Mix all the ingredients and serve cold.
