Art was always present in my life, no matter how demanding children, dogs or other

aspects of daily life were. The urge to put on paper what my eyes, my mind find beautiful
is always present.

And I think the duty and challenge, mission of art is to show, to register, to make public
what is beautiful, remarkable in our world. We all know what is ugly, dangerous, but not
to lose the feeling for beauty is important to keep up a positive feeling.

Trees are a subject that I love – in winter as well as in spring or autumn.
