“The first boat was launched in 2012. The boat is built in Tunisia. A new version of the
boat is in preparation and will be sold on the European market.”
About the name Sloughi, Ali Kastally says:
“The choice of name was made in homage to the Tunisian Sloughi which is endangered.
Its shape, elegance and heritage echo the vision that I want to propagate in North Africa
and internationally. I am also very often in the desert although my residence and my life
are on the edge of the Mediterranean, unconsciously I imported a little light from the
south into this project.”
