Fahel is still to this day (2022) the highest
pointed Sloughi in the American dog sport
of straight racing starting in 2001. His sire
Aswad Shi’Rayân was highest pointed
Sloughi in LGRA from 1996-2000.

Fahel was Best in Specialty Show at the
5th SFAA specialty organized in 2003 with
the International All breeds Canine
Association, in Gray Summit, Missouri,
under Canadian judge Cathy de Bruynes.

Fahel was a beautiful athlete. It was always

an incredible experience to watch him
leap forward at full speed, "kicking in the
afterburners" somewhere mid-race when
he literally took off.

Fahel was very affectionate and cuddly,
and a loving clown. He was very, very
smart, a very special and fascinating
