I have tried to conquer my Sloeqi, as one wants to have something whose possession
attracts. I almost assumed the allure of a medieval English aristocrat, I adapted to his race
in dress and gait so as not to fall out of the frame next to him, I became my dog's servant
instead of serving me, just because I wanted to understand him.
My Sloeqi stayed the same and thus got me under him. I silently promised him a delicious
veal carbonate with the leg and everything else if he would just be a dog for one day with
all its vices, with all its pros and cons. Tasso has not wanted this carbonade, he wants to
remain Sloeqi, far from the East and inscrutable. He has nothing against me having my
own conception of the dog.
We could live together for years without each blaming the other, and yet: East and West
never belonged together, will never belong together, will always be strangers to each
other, will never be able to fully understand each other.
And that is why I had to get rid of Tasso.
About this text Els Siebel writes:
I think it was originally a German text because Die Hundewelt was a German Magazine.
RM means Reichs Mark, the currency in Germany from 1924 – 1948.
Berlin Industrial show, the first one was in 1896 I believe.
D-train was the German name for speed train.
The only thing is that I don’t know that there were Sloughis in those days in Germany,
let’s say from 1930 – 1948.
