In the Emirates, Greyhound and Saluki are often crossed, in the Maghreb Galgo and Sloughi
are often crossed. In the Emirates, Greyhounds were also used for the annual hunting
expeditions to Saudi. The result was that Greys only managed one run per day, the Salukis
        up to 6 runs.

        From 07.08.2024
Mrs Rey was a Swiss sighthound judge and bred Whippets and Salukis, Mrs Schneebeli was
a sighthound judge and bred Whippets and Borzoi. Mrs G. Rey and Schneebeli were both

Swiss and had no relationship with Agnès Rey. I believe that both spoke little or no French.

Thomas Liedtke: ... was your partner Susi Leimbacher previously married to John
        Burchard?

After we split up in Dubai, Susi moved to the USA, first to Elizabeth Dawsari, then she met

John and moved to him on the East Coast. And she then married him.
... -John Burchard- He was above all a marine biologist.

Thomas Liedtke: Ah. Anyway, he was also involved with the Salukis of the Arabian

Peninsula. Have you been in contact for a long time?

Not very often. He lived with me for a few weeks. After his return from Dubai (1991), we lost
contact. He then married Susi. I subsequently bred 2 more dogs from Susi/John in the USA.
        Those were my last contacts.

Thomas Liedtke: Laba'an II was mated to a Sloughia after he came to Mme Rey in France.
He never "came" to Mme Rey in France. He lived with me until his death.
