However, the Sloughi will not be allowed to get away with unjustified misbehaviour if this
should happen. The means to make this clear to him, however, are not to be sought in
violence, whether physical or psychological.

Whoever trusts his Sloughi listens to what he has to say. He enables him to be happy. As
Daumas also wrote, the goodwill bestowed on the Sloughi is repaid to the human being
with good manners, cleanliness and decency and a pleasant nature.

So trust your Sloughi and he will have a long, healthy and happy life by your side! Perhaps
the Sloughi teaches you a lot about living together in a family? The love for the Sloughi
must be the guiding star for breeding and living together.

When Amaya was young, she always impetuously challenged me in the morning to learn
about the world. That's how we kept it up and her alert mental strength carries her into
old age.
