Biogry of the late
BEATRICE AFUA DADSON

The late BEATRICE AFUA DADSON, popularly known as AUNTY BEA, was born on 12 of
March 1954 in Effie Kuma, Takoradi, to JOHN GODFRED DADSON and MARY KWOFIE all of
Tblessed memory. She was the third of five siblings in the family.
She began her primary educa on in 1960 at Archbishop Porter Girls Primary School and
completed Standard Seven at Nana Brempong Yaw Middle School all at Takoradi in 1972. She
enrolled in Secretarial School in 1972 but had to cut short and discon nue her educa on to
help care for her father who had fallen seriously ill with stroke.
In 1973, she moved from Takoradi to reside with her senior sister Veronica Dadson, in Tema.
She later underwent appren ceship in hairdressing and worked as a full- me hairdresser. She
met and married her husband at the Tema Food Complex Corpora on.
She le the shores of Ghana with her children and joined her husband in the United States
of America in 1996, where she took a different career path in Home Health Care. She
maintained Hairdressing and also started trading.
She is survived by a Husband, Four Children and Eight Grandchildren who are all currently
residing in the United States of America.
