was so time conscious. She was always on time-very punctual-
arrived rst and waited for any event to start. She was quick to
remind you that she was “German Trained”.
As a Christian, Maa Jane was relentless in her spiritual
development. She was an ardent member of the Guild of the
Good Shepherd of St. Albans Anglican Church in Tema until her
retirement in 2021. She however continued to keep faith with the
Lord.
She had a health constraint which advisedly required intermittent
health check-ups. It was on one of such scheduled check-ups, at
the new University of Ghana Hospital, she passed on Tuesday the
31st May 2022. She is survived by six children; three males and

Maa Jane's breadmaking business was successful and the history
and success of a good number of bakeries in Tema today are
rooted in the training received from Maa Jane. She expanded
her bakery business to include the supply of baking ingredients
until her retirement in 1980.
Maa Jane loved music and was an avid dancer. She could spend
hours on the danceoor doing the Waltz, Foxtrot and others forms
of ballroom dancing. She was a spectacle to behold on the
dance oor.
She was among the rst few members of the St Albans Anglican
Church of Tema. As a member of the Good Shepherd's Guild, she
