Field Event Planning for 2021
So, here we go, a premature end to 2020/21
leaves me to think ahead to what events I
can reasonably plan for 2021. Naturally, the
lockdown must be behind us and the vaccination
programme a success, but already I am thinking
of game fairs, an August Working Test, and who
knows, field trials on grouse in August, and a full
complement of trials in 2021/22, with a repeat
surge of success from enthusiastic Weimaraner
handlers. What a tonic that would be.

So, given the impact of the lockdown restrictions
on field activities in 2020/21, we must turn
to last season to remind ourselves what an
extraordinary year of achievement that was for
