But as a teacher, I still believe that the future of education is in the class-
rooms, What I’ve really missed is talking to and interacting with my stu-
dents face to face while I’m teaching. I still remember many of my students
writing in the chat box, . Ma’am, when will our school reopenreopen, we
are missing the social aspect of school and we are so stoked to be back to
our school and meet our friends. We are missing our assembly’s sports and
the decoration of green board during the festivals.
For me this pandemic is an opportunity it is nowhere a crisis, I’ve learnt
a lot from all the ups and downs of this unusual time. Although there have
been many challenges, there has also been a huge amount of positivity that
has come out. For example, the appreciation for teachers by our beloved
Principal Mr.Jagdish Peche , the support of our Section Heads and manage-
ment . The way the students were being virtually kept engaged in different
forms of art — be it yoga, meditation, sports, music or dance classes . These
fun activities along with their regular curriculum helped them take their
minds off things troubling them, and provide much-needed respite., Our
teacher , students and parents have virtually come together to celebrate all
important festivals and competition which was really appreciable.
Next , according to me Oonline learning was very useful for our students,
it has covered a lot of ground in recent times and the interface is more
user friendly and on top of that, a student got a classroom experience by
sitting in the corners of their rooms. They got the facility to communicate
with their educators. It helped them to write their exams. Our teacher and
students both have enhanced many skills and have adapted themselves to
technology.
For students and teachers there appears to be no dearth of online resourc-
es of academic value. And therefore, online teaching is more an opportu-
nity than a challenge for teachers today. Online learning was a saviour in
this testing time and it helped our students in building vital skills for their
future.
There is no denying that this current outbreak has given our children ,
parents and teacher a growing stream of new technological resources . But
still there are certain perennial issues that plaguethat plague e-Learning
and so every teacher, parent, school staff member, wouldmember, would
love nothing more than for the next school year to be a normal back-to-
school return to traditional classroom learning in the school campus.
Now I’m really looking forward to going back to school and get back into
the classroom. But I hope we’ll all look back and yield something from this
time, which will shape the way we live our lives so that we all feel more
grateful for what we have and what we do. So letslet’s, Cheercheer up and
keep the optimism surging.
