Alpha- During the year Sorors are remembered with gifts and good will. The Amenities

faced with bereavement, in most cases the Basileus and some Sorors will attend the funeral if
possible. Cards and or flowers are given.
Delta Pi-The chapter has established Sunshine Guidelines as part of its By-Laws which
outline procedures to follow for illness, hospital stay, death, wedding, birth, promotion,
retirement, etc. for its financial Sorors as well as for its Xinos and Kudos. The Delta Pi
Chapter sent Floral arrangements for the funerals of the late Past Basilei Ardena S. Dixon
and Margaret C. Nelson. Cards were sent to Delta Pi members for birthdays, bereavements,
accomplishments, illnesses, holidays and retirements. The Highlight of the month is to
present a birthday card, and gift to each Soror.
Beta Zeta- Theme: Building Sisterhood and Interpersonal Relations
Cards are sent for Birthdays, and bereavements, accomplishments, retirements and during
Christmas. On September 29, 2019, Sorors fellowshipped at St. Mark's A.M.E. Zion Church.
All Sorors wore red hats in honor of Soror Joyce Witherspoon who joined the Omega
Chapter on August 1, 2019.
Rho Chapter- Theme: Building Sisterhood & Interpersonal Relations. All members of the
chapter received birthday cards. For Sick-and-Shut In Sorors, Dr. Gladys Glover, Chaplain,
called and inquired about them and during that time, she prayed for their well-being. Also, dish
garden plants are sent to sick and/or deceased family members. During the holidays, members
are sent cards.
Beta Omicron- Beta Omicron Chapter celebrates our members/sisters each month by
recognizing those who have birthdays during that month. The sorors are given birthday cards, if
they are present. If they are absent, the cards are mailed to them. In case of death of a spouse or
close relative (parents or children) a floral bouquet is sent. For all other relatives, a card is sent.
A get well card or a basket of cheer is sent to those under the weather or in the hospital.
Epsilon Alpha- The amenities committee prepares refreshments for our monthly meetings, sends
