Briefly describe and highlight exemplary programs reported by chapters of the region.

PURPOSE: The Past National Officers Committee keeps an updated record of Past National
Officers in the Eastern Region; and, acts as mentors; consultants to the regional director upon
request; and, suggests resolution on issues and concerns.

The committee meets during the Eastern Region Executive Council Annual Meeting in February to
review and update information received from chapters in the Eastern Region relative to past national
officer(s). Some chapters’ files cannot be located. This information comes from the chapter’s
Historical Files, which are given to the chapter’s current Basileus during the installation period of
newly elected chapter officers; and, appointed committee chairs. This information should be
submitted to the Past National Officers, Eastern Region Chairperson by the February Executive
Council Meeting, to be included in The Eastern Region Annual Conference Report.

RECOMMENDATIONS: To help facilitate locating the missing files, the chapter’s Historian and/
or, Basileus should contact National Headquarters to secure the missing information; and, send the
results to the Eastern Region Past National Officers Chairperson to be included in future reports.
The committee welcomes updated information.

Each chapter should send information to the Past National Officers chair the names of the Eastern
Region past national officers with the correct spelling of name, chapter affiliation, past national
office held, and date/term(s) of office.
