                                     REGIONAL COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON REPORT
                                                           Sororal Year 2019

                Y. E. S. Program Committee: Human Resource Regional Chair: Soror Leona Fowler

To my Sorors of the Exemplary Eastern Region,
Please allow this document to serve as my Administrative Chair Report.
It is with great pleasure that I serve as your Eastern Regional Human Resources Chair! With
great joy and admiration I am delighted to share my report of the results from the NSPDK, Inc. -
Eastern Region Professional/Expertise Database Survey which was sent out to each chapter in an
attempt to encapsulate all of the gifts, trades, expertise and talents that are within each of us
             throughout the Eastern Region.
I want to first thank the 53 respondents which was comprised of 12 chapters that responded to
             my ASK.

             Delta Phi -11; Delta Pi- 12; Beta Omicron -6; Beta Lambda- 6; Alpha-7; Epsilon Sigma- 2;
             Alpha Chi-3; Alpha Pi-2; Beta Epsilon- 1; Epsilon Chi-1; Epsilon-1 and; Gamma-1.
In my introductory letter I stated that the purpose of this survey is that I plan to create a database
to capture the ESSENCE of the members of NSDPK, Inc. in the Eastern Region.
What the survey revealed among those that completed by the January 31, 2020 deadline is that
             not only
are we educators (current or retired) of all facets from primary to secondary classroom general
and special educators, school support staff, librarians, mentors, instructional support/coaches,
and administration we are also Clergy, Entrepreneurs, Life Coaches, Counselors, Motivational
Speakers, Professional Trainers, College Professors, Reading/Math Specialists, ELL/ENL
             teachers, Gifted & Talented teachers.
Furthermore, among the Eastern Region are Sorors who are Real Estate Investors, Social
Workers, After School Tutors and a Co-Founder of a Charter School! I can only imagine if the
entire region had completed the survey, our minds would be blown away even the more!
We don’t want to keep this information within a chapter only -the sorority’s catch phrase has
been “Rock What WE Got!” And we is a collective and so therefore with the collaborative
cooperation of those Sorors that will be assigned (volunteer/told) tasks to assist me in gathering
further information, I will ensure that the Mighty Eastern Region is provided access to such a
database that represents the promotion of the highest ideals of the teaching profession and
             BEYOND!

             Respectfully

             Leona S. Fowler
             Leona S. Fowler,
             Human Resources Administrative Chair
