Description of the Activity: Delta Phi Chapter has adopted multiple classrooms in New
Haven, CT- 1 classroom is a Kindergarten classroom with 22 students. Students have received
multiple books to build their home libraries. 5 classrooms of 5th and 6th grade students were
adopted. Students were gifted pencils, other school supplies and books during the Christmas
season

AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY: Number of Sorors: 77 Other: 50+
Description of the Activity: Sorors have volunteered to read in multiple classrooms during the
month of February. Sorors also participated in the Martin Luther King Read Aloud challenge.
