4.9 Relocation Benefits
When XYZ Corporation asks employees to relocate to a new area, certain relocation
benefits may be provided to facilitate the transition. Relocation may be available to any
eligible transferred employee who must relocate in order to reside within 45 miles of the
new place of work. For specific information regarding the terms and extent of relocation
benefits, discuss with your immediate supervisor.
Employees must request relocation assistance for specific items in advance of the date the
expenses are incurred. XYZ Corporation will reimburse expenses only if the employee has
received advance approval, incurs reasonable expenses, and submits satisfactory proof of
the expense within 30 calendar days of the date the expense was incurred.
XYZ Corporation extends these relocation benefits in an effort to contribute to the success
of every employee's relocation. However, if an employee separates from XYZ Corporation
service within one year of the relocation, the amount of the relocation reimbursement will
be considered only a loan. Accordingly, the employee will be asked to reimburse all
relocation expense.
4.10 Educational Assistance
XYZ Corporation recognizes that the skills and knowledge of its employees are critical to
the success of the organization. The educational assistance program encourages personal
development through formal education so that employees can maintain and improve job-
related skills or enhance their ability to compete for reasonably attainable jobs within VerVe
Hair Beautique.
XYZ Corporation will provide educational assistance to all eligible employees immediately
upon assignment to an eligible employment classification. To maintain eligibility employees
must remain on the active payroll and be performing their job satisfactorily through
completion of each course. Only Regular full-time employees are eligible for educational
assistance.
