2023 brought exciting new dining options to Baton Rouge. Brasas Peru is a Peruvian restaurant known for its pollo a la brasa – chicken
that is meticulously cooked over an open flame and is infused with the flavors of Brazil. Town Square Pizza is downtown’s new hotspot with
customizable square-shaped pizzas. Big Chicken, located in the new Queen Baton Rouge casino, serves crispy chicken sandwiches,
Cheez-It crusted mac and cheese, and handcrafted ice cream shakes.

Celebrate the start of Lunar New Year at Night Market, also known as a street food festival in Asia and one of Baton Rouge’s biggest festi-
vals. Night Market BTR is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the different food and flavors of different Asian cultures and hang out with
friends and family. In the spring, join us for the Baton Rouge Soul Food Fest, which features two days of mouthwatering soul food, live music,
and a friendly cooking competition. The Louisiana Red Beans & Rice Heritage and Music Festival brings people together to enjoy one of
Louisiana’s iconic cuisines and experience live music performances that showcase the diversity of Southern music traditions.
