Golf & Fishing Trail

Day 1 Just north of New Orleans in St. Tammany Parish, play a morning round at Oak Harbor Golf Club,
then head to Lake Pontchartrain for a unique Louisiana fishing experience. Charter guides are available
for a fabulous fishing experience on the lake, where you will reel in redfish and catfish before spending
the night at beautiful Fontainebleau State Park.
Day 2 After spending the night in a beautiful state park, it is time for another 18 holes at the stunning LaTour
Golf Club in Lafourche Parish. Then it is time to hit the water and head out onto the bayou to catch
speckled trout and redfish. Enjoy your evening at any number of nearby hotels.
Day 3 After a morning relaxing, head to St. Mary Parish to enjoy 18 holes in the heart of the Atchafalaya
National Heritage Area, The Atchafalaya at Idlewild in Patterson. Overnight in St. Mary Parish and
rise early to charter a boat to the Atchafalaya Basin. Stop at Doiron’s Landing for supplies and snacks
and get ready to catch largemouth bass and crappie, “sac-a-lait” to the locals.

Day 4 Make your way to the nationally-recognized Toledo Bend Lake. Start your day with a round at the
freshly-renovated Cypress Bend Golf Resort. Take in the incredible scenery before heading out on to
Toledo Bend Lake to reel in some of the largest bass you have ever seen. End the day by relaxing in the
incredible Cypress Bend Resort.
