ERIC NOEL WINSTON…..

HOW WILL YOU HANDLE THESE CHALLENGES ?

FACING ADVERSITY Caused by COVID-19 Pandemic, Systemic Racism, Blacks Murdered by Police:

KEEPING YOUR FAITH In God to Overcome the Adversities You Will Surely Face:

STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT Academic Success, Individual Development, and Spiritual

         Growth:
This same attitude I have taken to approach my academics is the same attitude I have taken towards not
only all of the things I do in my daily life, but also all forms of adversity I face. Be it systemic racism, the
covid-19 pandemic, or any other hardships I face. The bottom line for me is that failure to achieve is simply
not an option for me. This means that no matter what obstacles I am presented with, I must push myself to
break through those barriers in order to achieve by any means necessary. I can also attribute some of my
success to the commitment I have made to stick to my convictions. Though neither me nor my family have
strong religious faith, I still make it a point to commit myself to my own personal convictions in order to
better myself as a person. These convictions include not only the betterment of myself, but also to make it
a point to reach out and help others within my community. Even without a religious faith in my life, my
strong will to stay committed to my personal beliefs have definitely kept me on the right path in life and
allowed me to improve myself as a person.
