NEW MEMBERS

Carrousels of San Diego began its 45th year by
welcoming three new members, Charlotte Cofield,
Dianne Joiner, and Charlotte Houston. High atop
the University Club in downtown San Diego, was
the setting for a festive installation. Carrousels

were all dressed in white to perfectly compliment
decorations of gold and white at each table and a
billowing balloon arch for photographs. Our new

members joined right in as we dined and danced the
night away!

45 SURE LOOKS GOOD ON YOU!!

After 45 years of sisterhood, the San Diego Chapter of
Carrousels, remains faithful to the mission and values
of our founders, connected to, and fully engaged
with each other. September began a new Carrousel

season of fun for 2022-2023. Tom Ham’s Lighthouse
on beautiful Shelter Island was the perfect place to
get us started. With a scenic view of the San Diego
Bay, on a typical gorgeous sunny day, President Cigi

Oakley and Vice President Verna Rose-Spires kicked
things off. A fabulous lunch was shared by all with
topics to include our favorite designer fashion items
such as purses, sunglasses, and of course— a little business
San Diego Carrousels at the University Club
about our budget excess for the year!!
