FRIDAY EVENING FUN, being the key word, Carrousel Christina Bennett,
chapter president, challenged the Carrousels
HAPPY HOUR of St. Louis, Missouri to plan impromptu

gatherings during the 2022-2023 club
year. In addition to our monthly chapter meetings, members searched for special activities
throughout the year. With the ultimate goal of increasing opportunities to gather, we set

out to continue celebrating friendship, fellowship, and fun with our Carrousel sisters.

Rising to the challenge, Carrousel Leah Harris planned our first event,
a “Friday Evening Happy Hour” at Brio Italian Grille. Nestled on a patio

setting with a breathtaking sunset in the background, we were thrilled to get
together. Throughout the evening, we shared an array of delicious appetizers,
complimented by fruity libations. The juicy conversations were frequently
interrupted by, “WOW, what are you drinking? It looks refreshing!” and “Oooh Girl, let

me try some of that!” Laughter was contagious, as everyone shared funny experiences,
genuine excitement about the opportunity to see one another, and summer highlights.

While everyone’s busy schedule varied, those able to join the fun were Carrousels Esther Beeks, Christina

Bennett, Victoria Buck, Erica Bumpers, Leah Harris, Gwen Key, Stacy Reed Mevs, Sandra Murdock, Staci Oliver,
Dianne Powell, Peggy Proctor, Bettye Reed, Karen Watkins, and Stacey Woolfolk.
