Accidents


    Should you have an accident at work contact one of the First Aider's as detailed on the next
    page or an STS supervisor who will organise First Aid treatment.  A record of all accidents
    must be recorded on the appropriate form.


    First Aid boxes are available at all of the STS compounds and around the site.
















    For more serious accidents other than a minor First Aid accidents that could be life threatening
    such as a fall from height immediately call Noel, Brennan, the Construction Manager and a
    member of the Health and Safety team who will communicate with all relevant parties.



    If an ambulance is required, contact Securitas who will coordinate arrangements with the
    Jacobs Safety Manager and contact emergency services for an ambulance to be called.


    Incidents



    If you observe an incident such as electrical incident, discharge of chemicals etc.  report the
    incident to your supervisor or a member of the STS or Jacobs Safety team as soon as possible,
    to  enable  the  appropriate  measures  to  be  taken. IF  IT  IS  SAFE  TO  DO  SO,  take  any
    appropriate actions to prevent others becoming harmed such as providing exclusion barriers.
