Construction Management Background

Vincent started his working career as an apprentice joiner, working for the local authority. Looking
for a career advancement he wanted to progress his career in site Management, working for a
national house building Company based in the north.

In further advancement was offered a position as general foreman with a well respected company,
Henry Boot Homes, working on local residential projects mainly in the midlands and Yorkshire
regions.

He joined Redrow Homes in the midlands, taking on a number of sites that were behind budget
and programme and was rapidly promoted to Contracts Manager responsible for all of the midland
sites. Vincent was excellent at managing contractors, planning projects being commercial aware
and being very customer focused.

Wanting to gain more experience other than spec. housing he joined an international construction
company as construction Project Manager, working on contract housing projects that were in
difficulty, turning them around to be profitable and ensuring projects were completed on time. His
most notable success was to change an expected £500 k loss into a £500 k profit on a
refurbishment project of 112 properties in just 12 weeks in north Wales.

Overall Vincent had over 10 years construction management experience.
