• All temporary works design drawings & calculations
should be checked and approved by a competent
person e.g. engineer.

• Plans detailing the safe methods of work for the
erection, use and dismantling for all temporary
works must be followed.
14. Temporary Works
• Timber, sheet materials, proprietary formwork and
fixings must be checked for damage and integrity
before use.

• Discard or repair any damaged items.

• A Competent Person must conduct scheduled
inspections of all temporary works to ensure their
continued integrity.
