• All temporary mechanical and electrical
(M&E) installations should be checked and
approved by a competent person e.g.
engineer.

• Plans detailing the safe methods of work for
the installation, use and dismantling for all
temporary M&E works must be followed.
14. Temporary Works
• Temporary M&E must be suitably protected
from the weather and secured from
unauthorized access.

• A Competent Person must conduct
scheduled inspections of all temporary
works to ensure their continued integrity
and safety.
