                      before entering defined construction zones.

                 • Hard hats – Did you know that hard hats have a limited shelf
life and must be replaced as outlined by the manufacturer.
(Generally this is only 3 to 5 years.) Your name must be clearly
                      displayed on your hat.

                 • Hi-Visibility vests or jackets must be worn at all times. These
must be clean, in good condition and reflective.
                 • Safety boots must be a laced type boot with steel toe cap and
steel mid-sole. We do not permit rigger boots or safety
                      shoes/ runners.
                 • Eye protection is required at all times. Please remember that
light eye protection is a minimum. You may need more robust
eye protection when using power tools.
                 • Safety gloves are mandatory at all times in construction areas.
Gloves must be suited to the task and as a minimum you must
wear gloves with a cut rating of 4 or greater. You are not
permitted to remove your gloves for any task. Tasks that
require dexterity may require a fingerless glove. (Check with
                      your supervisor)
                 • Jacobs operates a long sleeve policy on this project. This
ensures arms are protected from cuts or abrasions.
                 • Hearing protection may be required.
