I have been with Essex for exactly a year and a half. I started off as a Leasing Agent,
because I was coming from the world of Real Estate and for some reason, I thought
property management would be a similar field. That couldn’t have been further from
the truth, but I was lucky enough to be working with a fantastic team who showed me
the ropes. After 6 months, I was promoted to Assistant Community Manager at PE Lofts
Jessica which is the position I currently hold. I have been massively impressed with Essex as a
company. I have never worked for a company where I felt so encouraged to grow and
Hill progress as a professional. My managers and regional manager have been unbelievably
Assistant supportive and have shown nothing but confidence in my abilities, which has made my
Manager – PE work environment feel more like a team environment!

Lofts
Fun Fact about myself: I was a Laker Girl for 4 years and also was a Lakers TV host for 4
years.

I have been with Essex for 4 years now. I started as a leasing specialist at a small
property in LA (The Huxley). After a year, I was then promoted to a lease up leasing
specialist at Century Towers in San Jose. We successfully completed the lease up and
stabilized 30 days ahead of schedule. My manager then approached me and asked me
to join her at the next lease up, Station Park Green in San Mateo. We successfully
stabilized Phase 1 on time. After phase 1 was stabilized, I was promoted to leasing
manager at Station Park Green. This was my first management role with Essex. I led the
Jose leasing team through Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the lease up at Station Park Green, both of
Tinoco which were stabilized on time. Phase 3 was a lease up during stay at home orders and
we still managed to lease up on time!
Community
Manager – Shortly after successfully completing the lease up as a leasing manager, I was promoted
Marquis to community manager here at Marquis. I am very new to my role, but I am looking
Apartments forward to continue growing with Essex.

Hobby/Fun Fact
I am a secret cook. What that means is that I am very good at cooking, but I don’t really
tell anyone. I like to surprise people when they taste my food. My specialty is Mexican
food
