I am very excited about this opportunity and am extremely happy that I was referred to
be a part of this program! I do understand that it is a time commitment, but I will be
dedicated so I can further my leadership skills.

I have been with Essex for a little over three years and have been a Leasing Specialist
since I first started in 2017. I first began working at Bernardo Crest and then transferred
Mali over to Country Villas after I graduated from SDSU. The best thing I like about Essex is
the people I work with. They make my job fun and exciting.

During my free time I like to roller skate and binge watch TV shows on Netflix.

Specialist –
Country Villas

I’ve been with Essex for eight years and have transitioned into a few roles. In 2012, I was
hired as the Regional Assistant to support the Regional Portfolio Managers and the
Office Manager for the Irvine Corporate Office. In 2015, I was promoted to Senior
Regional Assistant to support the Division Manager (Jessica Anderson) and Sr. RPM
(Mark Yepez). In 2019, I was promoted to Senior Group Operations Administrator to
Maria support the VP of Operations (Jessica Anderson) and oversee the administrative team
Ricon for Southern California. In 2020, my responsibilities shift to manage projects lead by
Jessica Anderson, one being the formation of the Resident Response Team. I’ve been

fortunate to support an amazing team (OC Regional and Jessica Anderson), they’ve
Specialist – always considered my thoughts and opinions on working matters and made me part of
Country Villas the team. Everyone I work with are good people, who care to provide amazing work and
make Essex better.

Interest, hobby, fun fact:

I enjoy puzzles and brain twisters more than most I have three kids (5, 7, and 9 years
old) and enjoy drawing and painting with them.
