night too, but Ma seems to ignore me and just says Rosie go to the laundry and

stop jumping on me!"

"I tell you what though" said BJ. "I’ve never seen anyone who is as good as
Pixie at eliciting treats from the people. A treat for going outside, a treat for

coming back in, a treat while waiting for dinner, another for eating dinner and
a treat for watching everyone else take their medicine! It’s such a shame that
she’s passed away - she could have taught us all how she did it!"

Pretty soon it seemed

- it was time to pick up
the visitors and when

they had arrived - all
the people and all the

dogs headed down the
back.

The Dogmother distributed big

meaty juicy bones and the dogs
all settled down for a feast while
the people had a feast as well.

They seemed to like to have it
with lots of drinks they got out

of a cold box they kept close by,
and poured into their glasses. It

seemed to make them very
happy.
