Pippa found a particularly sizeable stick and picked it up in her mouth and took
off. Unfortunately, she didn’t see BJ a few feet in front of her and tripped
right over him, so she had to sit down and chew some of her stick off.
The game kept a number of
them entertained until it was
time to go up for tea.
Scooby often took it into his
head to go for a random swim in
the creek. The other dogs were
all fascinated - because
although they often paddled in
the shallower parts - aside
from that one time when they’d
tackled the Black Swamp
Monster - they never swam in
the deep part of the
creek. Scooby, with his big,
long legs would just cruise on in,
do a lap or two and emerge
again with his wet coat
glistening in the sun (rather
sexily Pippa thought).
On Friday afternoon, Uncle Kentucky gathered the troops for story time. This
will be my last story kids, he said as my Mum is coming to pick me up tonight
after the Dogparents come home.
"Let me tell you about the time I inadvertently took on the role of baby to a
lady peacock. I was at home minding me own business like - when I heard a
most unusual kerfuffle emanating from our back garden. Naturally it was my
inherent duty as Master of the house and keeper of the calm to go and
