"Well," said Rosie - 'that is quite extraordinary Uncle Kentucky! I'm pretty
sure I would have had me a mind to eat that peacock lady!" 'We all have our
Achilles Heels, Rosie" said Uncle Kentucky sympathetically. "My breed often
can't be trusted with rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats as we were bred to
hunt them down, and even though we no longer need to eat prey to survive it
still lingers in our genes."
