Internships and Residential Programs
The Bronx GEAR UP Network (BGUN) provides students with engaging learning opportunities outside of the classroom, such as internships and academic residential programs. These programs are selective and require a serious commitment from participants.
If you’re interested in applying, be sure to contact Janill Marquez at janill.marquez@lehman.cuny.edu and your school’s Academic College Readiness Coach (ACRC) for more information.
              Internships
The New York Botanical Garden and The Bronx Zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Society,
two longstanding partners of The Bronx GEAR UP Network, provide exciting and competitive internships to BGUN students. In order to be considered for these internships, students must attend workshops that are held during the school year (see page 5 for more info).
