talents that are inherited from parents, as well as environmental
influences.
In this case, the flow of education in the Minang
tradition adheres to the convergence concept introduced by
William Stern (1871–1939), where the development of human
learning is a combination of talent and the natural surroundings.
The proverb above shows that in order to
continuously learn something, start from the beginning, meaning
that there are levels starting from the beginning to a goal.

The adage above shows a seriousness to learn until
a program or skill is truly mastered, what is not allowed by custom
is to be interrupted in the middle, meaning incomplete learning so
