Literacy Week transformed language into living, breathing stories. Through role play,
storytelling and text-rich activities, children expanded their vocabulary, narrative skills and
comprehension. They weren’t just reading—they were making meaning, expressing themselves
and developing a genuine love for language. Similarly, our 100 Days of Maths Week invited
children into the world of numbers through playful exploration. Here, abstract concepts
became tangible, as numeracy was embedded in joy, movement and creative thinking.

Throughout the year, our learning community has been strengthened by the invaluable
involvement of families. Events such as Kashta Day, Super Dad and the EPG Family Festival
allowed learning to ourish across settings, reinforcing the vital home–school partnership.
These shared experiences nurtured emotional wellbeing and emphasised the social dimension
of learning—joy, connection and shared purpose.

We also honoured the spirit of kindness and community through our Gargee’an/Open
Day, which offered opportunities for children to practise empathy, generosity and
celebration. On Mother’s Day and World Poetry Day, children explored the power of
language to express feelings, appreciate others and communicate their inner
                       worlds—building emotional literacy and self-awareness.

Our Moving Up and Graduation Day marked a proud celebration of progress. As our
children stepped onto the stage, they did so with con dence, assurance and a readiness
for their next steps—a re ection of the nurturing, intentional learning environment that
has supported them all year long.

Our Parent–Teacher Conferences provided a meaningful opportunity to honour each
child’s unique developmental journey. Together, we re ected on progress, identi ed
strengths and made plans for continued growth—ensuring that every child is known,
                       valued and supported.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary year, we do so with immense gratitude. To our
passionate educators, our ever-supportive families and most importantly, to our
inquisitive, capable and inspiring young learners—thank you. Every moment of curiosity,
every discovery and every connection made has shaped a year of profound learning and
joyful growth. We look ahead with excitement to another year of exploration, possibility
                       and wonder.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer break!
